16 gauge stainless steel is about 25% thicker than 18 gauge. The 16 gauge construction makes for a strong and sturdy undermount stainless steel sink.

304-grade certified stainless steel is the highest quality material used in stainless steel sinks. All MR Direct International sinks are built with certified 304 Stainless Steel, providing products that are very resistant to staining and rusting.
